In an un-serious way.... because the pub is casual. You don't have to dress up if you don't want to - straight forward text on the menu - no stiff service - no table cloths - just a relaxed pub for all sorts of leisure and business occasions.
We have dishes suitable for the widest range of your meal occasions. You might eat with us because you can't be bothered to cook on a Tuesday evening. Or you might want to book our private dining room for a very special dining event.
We are proud to be a Derbyshire pub - and we are so lucky to have some of the finest produce in the land on our doorstep - so we do everything we can to source our products locally and keep our 'food miles' to a minimum.
Our menus change every day - depending on what is in season and what we can buy in the markets... and because people want to buy different dishes at different times of the week. But overall we produce simple dishes with a big flavour hit... and everything with a difference.
