About us....
The Bulls Head is a fabulous old building in the centre of Repton, south Derbyshire. In the past it has been a coaching house and a post office and the various licensees have also traded as butchers, a wine & spirit merchant, farmers and seedsmen. Alan Kimber (Chairman and photographic archivist of Repton Village History Group) has managed to trace parts of the building back to 1781 although he believes it is older than this.
The business was closed over 2 years and has recently undergone a £600,000 refurbishment to get the doors open again. We now have:
A stylish yet casual pub
for eating, drinking and all sorts of gatherings
with a reputation for.....
local, quality food
and....
great people who really look after you
We know you'll love the interior, with stone floors, original beams and plenty of stylish touches, the atmosphere at The Bulls Head is friendly and informal.
In everything we do, we try to be different to the rest. We offer fantastic Illy coffee. We hand cut all our chips. We home make our lemonade. Our wine range is to die for. Our real ales are bright and we serve bottled beers with frozen glasses...... to mention just a few of those differences.
